We are intentional about using the freshest ingredients that are carefully culled from local growers, people we've known for decades. It's there we find the sourdough with that perfect crunch. The tomatoes you can still taste the mid-morning sun on. The chocolate, the chocolate, from that one friend who knows right where to source the richest cacao.
But the right ingredients are just the start. We design our meals special for every client, every occasion, and every season. There are no accidents in our choices when we let nature choose.

To that end, Chef Jacob developed the Four Pillars of Health and Happiness that we abide by here at Tahoe Taste. We believe that by following these pillars to the best of our ability, we create food for our clients that tastes so much better because it is rooted in the intention to serve the whole person, not just their tastebuds.
Diet
We recognize each body is a temple and make conscious choices about what we put into them. Good bodies start with good food.
Exercise
We nurture a full sensory relationship between our body and our brain receptors through exercise. Movement elevates our dopamine and oxytocin, which creates wellbeing. Wellbeing in us helps foster wellbeing in others.
Meditation
We strive for presence in our lives and in our work, detaching from distractions and turning off inner dialogue, becoming grounded and still. When we are present with ourselves, we are present with others.
Natural Medicine
We believe everything we need for health is found in Mother Nature. It is her intention to provide the resources, it is up to us to use them with respect and intention.
